Overview

Eduardo Roa is an Associate at Laner Muchin Ltd., where he represents employers in a wide range of labor and employment matters. He defends employers in federal and state court litigation, administrative proceedings, and pre-litigation disputes involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, disability accommodation, wage and hour, and restrictive covenant claims.

Eduardo advises employers through all stages of litigation, from case assessment and discovery through dispositive motions, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation. He also counsels clients on workplace investigations, employee relations issues, personnel decisions, workplace policies, and compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. Eduardo is committed to providing practical, business-oriented solutions to complex workplace challenges.

Before joining Laner Muchin, Eduardo represented employers nationwide in labor and employment matters, including litigation, workplace investigations, and policy development.

Eduardo earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law, where he concentrated in Trial Advocacy and Dispute Resolution. During law school, he served as a Rule 711 Student Attorney with the Fair Housing Legal Clinic and was actively involved in trial advocacy and community engagement initiatives.
