Ashley D. Pendleton

Ashley Pendleton joined Laner Muchin in 2025 as an Associate Attorney in the Commercial Litigation Practice with experience in advocating for her clients in a court of law as well as handling transactional matters. She is well versed in non-compete agreements, shareholder disputes, and misappropriation of trade secrets. Ashley also has extensive experience in counseling her clients on trademark, copyright, and rights of publicity issues.

Prior to joining Laner Muchin, Ashley worked as a Senior Associate at a boutique law firm in the financial district of Chicago, where she practiced in the Entertainment & Media, Litigation, and Business & Corporation Practices. She also has experience as in-house personnel in the telecommunications industry and as a Law Clerk for the City of Chicago’s Building and Licensing Department.

Ashley earned her JD from The John Marshall Law School with a Certificate in Intellectual Property. As a law student, she gained experience by working in John Marshall Law School’s Trademark Clinic and was a member of the Black Law Students Association, and Black Entertainment & Sports Law Association.
